Please read the Veteran’s Day Parade rules below, it is required for entry.

Veterans’ Parade– Saturday, November 12, 2022 

Parade Starts promptly at 10:00 am

Entries must be received by Friday, November 4, 2022

Theme: Heroes One & All-  (all branches of Military, First Responders and Heroes of all kinds are welcomed and honored)

Paper applications are available at your request by emailing: kingmandowntownmerchantsassoc@gmail.com, make checks payable to Kingman Downtown Merchants’ Association and mailed to KDMA 221 E Beale Street, Kingman, Az 86401

REGISTRATION FEE: $25.00 (Donations accepted). Veteran’s register for FREE.

CANDY: Per the City of Kingman, nothing may be handed, tossed, or thrown from a moving vehicle.  Hand delivered candies to spectators is allowed.  NO PAPER OR DIRECT SALES OR SOLICITATIONS– Unless prior arrangements as vendor position has been granted & approved. 

PARADE ORDER: is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED (All vehicle(s) must be present at the time of check-in) Line up will be determined by the event Committee. Special arrangements order requests can be made by emailing a request to: kingmandowntownmerchantsassoc@gmail.com 

CHECK IN AND STAGING: will begin at 8:00 am, Last call at 9:30

STAGING LOCATION: Back parking lot of Lee Williams High School, enter gates on Grandview.  You will be directed to the parade route by volunteers.

PARADE ROUTE: Line-up is staged on Oak Street, then travels across 5 th street over to Beale Street and down to 1 st street, where you will then exit as directed.

SPEED & DISTANCE: Speed is 5 mph and 5 car lengths between entries must be maintained. There may be periodic stops for the announcement stage. If  the parade stops, you stop.  Parade goes, you go.

LIMITATIONS: Entries may not exceed 30 feet in height, 40 feet in length, and 8 feet wide. Details will be needed during registration. 

SIGNAGE: Entry number is to be placed on the (Right Side) of your vehicle, No hand made signs or banners, No advertising, slogans, or other display media that are deemed by Parade Officials to be improper, obscene, or discriminatory based on race, color creed, sex, age, national origin, political view or religion. We have the right to refuse any entry, for any reason.

  • Announcements are made at Beale Celebrations, sidewalk on Beale Street 
  • Port-a-potties There are 3 port-a-potties located on Oak Street  1 st block 3 rd block and 5 th block and on Beale Street at 4 th & Beale close to the old Wells Fargo Bank
  • NO alcohol or substance consumption before or during the parade is permitted by parade participants. Violators are subject to disqualification.

 ** ALL PARADE RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

If you are NOT the Driver of said entry- You MUST share this information with

‘The Driver of this Vehicle’ prior to the day of check- in.

HOLD-HARMLESS: By submitting this registration form, entry applicant agrees, understands and assumes all responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims resulting from any injury to persons, including, but not limited to, injuries to spectators, volunteers or other entry applicants person or personal properties, or damages to equipment, or other property brought onto the premises/streets. Entry applicant shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Kingman Downtown Merchants Association, City of Kingman, its respective agents, servants, employees and volunteers from any and all such losses, damages, cause of actions, suits or claims arising out of the entry applicants negligence. 

The Event Committee accepts NO RESPONSIBILITY for false statements made by entry applicants or it’s volunteers.
